Almost 10 years after the release of 『SOFB BOY (Down Jacket Diagonal Stripe)』, Taku Obata and Unbox Industries reunite for 『SOFB GIRL (Kiiroi Jacket 2020)』.
Based on an original wooden sculpture created by Obata during his 2019 to 2020 residency in London, SOFB GIRL marks the second soft vinyl interpretation from this special series.
Featuring 12 points of articulation, the figure can be displayed in her original stoic stance or reposed to capture the movement, rhythm, and kinetic energy that define Obata’s work.
Painted to faithfully echo the original wooden sculpture, 『SOFB GIRL (Yellow Jacket 2020)』 will be available as a one-time, 48-hour open pre-order.
